Version 2.0
Welcome to Sara's Scribblings, Version 2.0! While my past attempts at keeping a regular blog have been spotty at best, this attempt will be different. Why, you may ask? Well, for one simple reason: I'm done going on and on about my life (such as it is). I mean, really, there are a bevy of blogs out there like that, and I want mine to stand out a little among the masses. So, with that in mind, I've decided to blog about what I know best: pop culture.
I'm a pop culture maven who tries to keep her finger on the pulse of what's new and cool in the entertainment world. In the coming weeks and months, I'll be tackling such diverse topics as this weekend's Academy Awards, whether or not DC Comics' Infinite Crisis is worth reading, is Lost not only the best show on TV, but maybe the best show in a long time, and so much more.
I'll tackle movies, TV, comics, books, music, and even sports. I'm a literal fountain of useless information, and I certainly have my share of what I hope are informed opinions. Don't expect me to slurp a show, movie or a book that everyone praises or to berate something that everyone has condemned as trash. I'm not a shill by any stretch of the imagination.
Be back here tomorrow for my review of the last Gilmore Girls episode before April. Tonight, Rory finds out just what off-again, on-again boyfriend Logan was doing during their little hiatus.
So, please join me on my mystical, magical pop culture journey. I promise to make it worth your while.
~Sara
