Veronica Mars Renewed!

Just read the big news over at Michael Ausiello's TV Guide.com blog. According to VM creator Rob Thomas, the show received a full, 22 episode order that could be reduced to only 13 depending on the ratings. That is phenomenal news. You have no idea how happy I am for everyone involved on perhaps the most under-watched and under-appreciated show on television.

And yes, I'm way overdue with my reviews of the Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls season finales. Real life kinda bit me in the butt last week, in the form of a lingering illness that I'm just now starting to get over.

Anyway, I need to get back to work. Check back later for the reviews. Later on in the week, I'll offer my thoughts on the networks' upfront presentations which started yesterday. There are some interesting shows set to debut next fall, with a host of 24 and Lost clones. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Guess time will tell.
